Real-time Environmental Monitoring Across Pharmaceutical Workshops
To ensure drug quality and follow standards like GMP, ISO and FDA, pharmaceutical manufacturers must accurately and continuously record and manage environmental data such as temperature and humidity across manufacturing facilities, testing rooms, warehouses, and the like. Fluctuating environmental conditions risk raw material deterioration, reduced formulation stability, and failed GMP audits. However, from raw material storage and production areas to clean rooms, laboratories, and finished product warehouses, pharmaceutical facilities contain multiple monitoring zones with different environmental requirements and control limits. Many factories still struggle with manual logging, scattered monitoring points, delayed alarms and untraceable records. Now Freshliance offers you a real-time environmental monitoring system to solve these pain points.

This wireless digitalized environmental monitoring system is built up based on G2000 LoRa gateway and LoRa Tag series temperature data loggers, covering an open communication range of 400 meters with strong wall penetration. A single LoRa gateway supports up to 50 LoRa temperature sensors spread across raw material zones, production clean rooms and finished goods storage, etc, without complicated wiring and setup.

The LoRa gateway automatically collects sensor readings and transfers them to Freshliance Cloud, allowing management teams to remotely view both live and history data from a phone or a computer, requiring no on-site visits and attended care. Flexible network options (4G/LAN or WiFi/LAN) adapt to diverse environmental requirements, ensuring robust data collection wherever your devices are placed. The LoRa temperature sensors are provided in multiple models. Beyond the built-in probe, each model is optionally equipped with one or two external probes, easily slipping into packages, boxes, containers, stacked pallets, and giving you visibility into hard-to-reach critical temperature zones.

Sensors data is cached locally during network failure and auto-synced once connections recover, fully meeting GMP demands for complete, unalterable records.
All sensors and their built-in/external probes can be freely configured based on the specific environmental monitoring requirements across all facilities. For example:
Raw material storage: Usually require 18℃~26℃/45% ~ 65%RH
Finished products storage: May require 10℃~30℃/35% ~ 75%RH for normal temperature storage; 2℃~10℃/35% ~ 75%RH for refrigerated storage
Testing rooms: Require 20℃~25℃/45% ~ 65%RH
To simplify device management, we provide the Plan module, letting you upload your factory blueprint, drag and drop sensor icons onto their physical locations, and instantly visualize temperature data across every aisle, shelf, and storage zone.
If any recorded data goes outside the preset limits, instant alerts will be sent to staff via SMS, email and APP pushes, allowing rapid adjustments to air conditioning and dehumidifiers.
All data can be exported and downloaded via mobile APP and cloud platform anywhere anytime. More importantly, hourly, daily, weekly or monthly reports can be sent to designated mailboxes as scheduled. Multi-level access control empowers administrators with centralized data management, while ensuring that each management role receives tailored visibility into the metrics and functions essential to their specific duties. Data management is critical for pharmaceutical enterprises. With open API setup, all environmental data is seamlessly streamed to your entire pharmaceutical data ecosystem—ERP, MES, LIMS, WMS, and QMS, etc., breaking down silos and automating workflows.
This real-time environmental monitoring system helps pharma firms lock in consistent workshop environments, simplify compliance work and lift overall quality management efficiency. It is also well suited for other large facilities across diverse industries that require monitoring at multiple distributed points.
